JEN'S CHILI CHEESE PARTY DIP | |
This recipe idea was provided by my college age sister. I experimented with the idea, and came up with a crowd pleasing favorite! I will often have a bottle of hot sauce nearby for friends who like to heat things up! 1 (2 lb.) box Velveeta cheese 1 lb. ground beef 1 pkg. taco seasoning salt and pepper, to taste 1 (15 oz.) jar medium salsa 1 tbsp. cumin dashes of hot sauce (optional) Cut block of Velveeta cheese into 1-inch cubes and begin melting in Crock-Pot. Brown ground beef and season. Add prepared ground beef to cheese. As the mixture begins to melt, add salsa, cumin and optional dash of hot sauce. Allow to melt fully, mix and serve with your favorite tortilla chips! Submitted by: Jennifer Bradley |
