GOOD BOILED CABBAGE 
1 sm. head cabbage
2 tbsp. dried minced onion
2 tbsp. caraway seeds
1/4 tsp. salt
1 qt. water

Put water, salt, onions and caraway seeds in saucepan. Boil until onion is soft. Strain through a cheesecloth or fine sieve. Cut cabbage in wedges, leaving portion of stem on each piece. Put in water after straining and cook until tender. Season with oil or butter. May need to add more water.
