THE MARSHALL SALAD 
Juice of 1 lemon
2-3 garlic cloves, crushed
3/4 c. salad oil
1/4 lb. bacon
2 heads Romaine
2 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
1 c. coarsely grated Swiss
2/3 c. slivered almonds, toasted
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1 c. croutons

In small bowl, combine lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Add oil in a stream, beating with a fork. Allow to stand, covered, for 3 hours.

In a skillet, saute bacon. In a salad bowl, combine all other ingredients, toss with the dressing. Salt and pepper to taste.
