FRESH PEACH CRISP | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed 4 c. fresh peaches, sliced 2 tbsp. water 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon Combine flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon; cut in butter with 2 knives or pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse corn meal. Combine peaches, lemon juice and water; spoon into a greased 9 x 9 x 1 3/4 inch cooking dish. Sprinkle flour mixture over peaches. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove cover and bake 35-45 minutes longer. |
