COLD WATER GARLIC DILL PICKLES 
Very sm. cucumbers (is best)
Dill
Garlic
Salt (plain, no iodized)
Vinegar (cider)
Sm. hot red peppers (opt.)
Water

In bottom of each sterilized quart jar place a large spray of dill, 1 garlic clove and 1 hot pepper. Fill jars with cucumbers that have been well washed and dried.

Make a brine of 1 cup salt, 1 cup cider vinegar to 14 cups cold water. Top each jar with another spray of dill and a clove of garlic. Seal jars and store in dark cool place for 4 to 6 weeks before using.
