1 lb. sausage
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. dates
1 c. or more nuts
4 c. brown sugar
3 c. boiling water
6 c. flour
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. cloves
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 box candied fruit

Combine first 6 items and mix thoroughly. Mix dry ingredients and add this to mix. Put into 3 pans, loaf or angel food pans. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Great for the holidays!
