TOP CRUST ONLY APPLE PIE 
4 1/2 c. sliced apples (or desired fruit) canned or fresh peaches are good
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. flour
Pinch of salt

Put apples in a greased 9 inch pie plate. Sprinkle the apples with 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix melted butter, 1/2 cup sugar, egg, baking powder, flour and salt. Pour the mixture over the fruit. Bake 40-45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Serve warm.
