TOPPING FOR ONE CRUST APPLE PIE 
6 lg. apples
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
4 tbsp. butter, melted
Sour cream (make own by adding 2 tbsp. vinegar to 1/2 c. whipping cream)

Use your own recipe for the crust. Place crust in pie dish. Arrange sliced apples on top. In a bowl mix melted butter, flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Put mixture on top of apples. Pour sour cream on top of mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Reduce to 350 degrees and bake for 30 more minutes or until golden brown on top.
