SIX WEEK SLAW 
1 med. cabbage
1 med. onion
1 sweet green pepper
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. salt

Bring to boil sugar, vinegar, water and salt. Pour over grated cabbage and onion and pepper; mix well. Store in refrigerator. Will keep for 6 weeks or longer.
