BAKED CHICKEN BREAST AND TOMATO SAUCE WITH ARTICHOKE HEARTS | |
4 whole chicken breasts sprinkled with garlic powder 2 lbs. stewed tomatoes, chopped, do not drain 2 (6 oz.) marinated artichoke hearts, chopped and drained 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tsp. sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice Pinch of red pepper to taste Bake chicken breast 350°F. for 20 minutes or until done. In a saucepan heat together remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes. Pour sauce over chicken and bake 5 more minutes. Serve on angel hair pasta. |
