AMY LOU'S MOLASSES KRUMPLES 
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/3 c. molasses

1. Prepare pan.

2. Sift flour, soda, salt and spices together twice.

3. Cream shortening with sugar. Add beaten egg. Mix until creamy then stir in molasses.

4. Add flour and mix well. Place in refrigerator for one hour or more.

5. Shape into balls size of walnuts. Dip tops in white sugar. Then place on greased pans 2 inches apart and press with a fork. Bake in quick oven, 375 degrees.
