SALMON PATTIES 
1 lg. can salmon
1 egg
1/2 c. corn meal
dash of pepper
cooking oil

Empty salmon into large bowl and mash until smooth. Don't forget to pick bones and skin off fish. Add egg, corn meal, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well: Shape into patties. Fry in hot cooking oil. Turning other side brown evenly on both sides.

Thank you so much for this recipe! I have gone 30 years wanting to have salmon patties like my grandmother used to make - and this is it! She would add very finely chopped onions (except for mine, because I don't like onion) so I added a little onion powder and it was like being home again. Again Thank You!
