HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. extra lean hamburger
1 can mushroom soup
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
5 med. peeled potatoes, sliced
1 sm. onion, diced
Salt to taste

Cook hamburger until brown; drain. Put one layer in casserole dish. Put one layer of potatoes, layer of onions, and cheese. Mix 1/2 cup water with soup; pour 1/2 of soup mixture over layers. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve hot.
