“EASY PEAR APPLE CRISP” IS IN:

EASY PEAR APPLE CRISP 
4 large medium tart apples
4 large pears
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup oats
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ginger

Heat oven to 375°F. Butter an 8x8-inch baking dish. Peel and thinly slice apples and pears; arrange in prepared dish.

In a large bowl, place the brown sugar. Add flour; add oats; add spices. Cut in butter with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly.

Sprinkle evenly over apples and pears.

Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until fruit is fork tender.

Serve with ice cream or cream if desired.
