TURKEY OR CHICKEN CHOW MEIN 
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 c. chopped onion
2 c. diagonally cut celery
3 c. thinly sliced cooked turkey or chicken

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water
3 c. water
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. dark molasses
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Hot rice or noodles

Add 2 tablespoons oil, soy sauce, and vegetables to skillet. Saute vegetables 3 minutes over high heat. Add turkey or chicken, then saute. To make sauce, dissolve cornstarch in 2 tablespoons water. Combine with the 3 cups water, soy sauce, molasses, bouillon cubes, and salt. Stir into vegetable/turkey mixture. Simmer 10 minutes. Serve over rice or Chinese noodles.

I added 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms to the recipe. We enjoyed it but the sauce was definitely too thin. I believe at least another tbsp if not 2 of cornstarch should have been in edition to the 2 in the recipe.
