JAPANESE THREE - FLAVORED
CHICKEN
 
2 cloves of garlic, crushed (about 1/4 tsp.)
1/2 tsp. dried crushed red pepper
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. sake or dry sherry
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. honey
2 boneless chicken breasts, halved
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
Green pepper, cut into strips (opt.)

Mix all ingredients together and marinate chicken breasts 3 to 4 hours, turning pieces occasionally or overnight.

Chicken can be grilled on barbecue over low heat for 20 to 25 minutes, turning frequently or placed in baking pan in an oven at 325 degrees for 20 minutes, turning pieces and brushing with marinade. Garnish with sauteed green pepper strips and serve over rice.
