STRING BEANS AND MUSHROOM SOUP 
2 cans French style green beans
1 pkg. slivered almonds (optional)
1 can mushroom soup
1 lg. onion
2 tbsp. butter

Slice onion and fry in butter until transparent. Put in layers alternately in casserole, ending up with almonds on top (if you like). Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
