CHEWY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 cup peanut butter (your choice)
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Mix butter and sugars until creamy. Add peanut butter and mix well; add eggs one at a time; mixing well after each egg. Add flour, baking soda and salt; a tablespoon at a time; add vanilla.

Drop by teaspoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet; 12 cookies per sheet.

Bake at 325°F for about 13 minutes; let cool on cookie sheet 2 minutes; then remove cookies to wire rack to finish cooling.

Makes 50 cookies.

These cookies are the best! I have made them several times and everyone in my family loves them. The peanut butter really adds a nice flavor and makes them so chewy that you can't stop eating them!
