BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

Whats miracle Whip ? In OZ we toast the white bread and butter it, whack on a half inch slab of leg ham, cover the ham with HOT ENGLISH mustard. It's mouth watering and the mustard will make your eyes and nose do the same. If you can't get masterfood Hot english try WASABI.

If you do fry the bologna - make cuts in a few places around the edge.....Keeps it from puffing up in the middle... Wonderful with added sweet pickle chips... Yum!

I am a food vender. I cook bologna on a smoker grill. I cook with wood, people love it. I put cheese on it with a little mayo and a tomato on it but I call this Kentucky round steak. They love this at the fair's.

another variation is to get the bologna out of MawMaw's refrigerator and put it in the microwave to cook; climb up on the counter for two slices of sara lee wheat bread with the edges cut off and put the bologna in between. turn on the television to SpongeBob, relax and enjoy.

Tried this recipe several times & one day I wanted one & was out of bologna & out of the blue it hit me why not try this recipe with some other meats like salami or roast beef, pastrami the variations could be limitless. I even tried it with different types of bread & sometimes I used Mayo. The only problem I have is with this recipe is the clean up part my wife gives me a nasty look when she sees me getting the bread out.

The best way to eat a bologna sandwich is to deep fry the bologna. It gets crispy around the edges. Put on your favorite bread with mustard or mayo with crisp lettuce and tomato. Wow thats how we do it in the South!!

I like the idea of the mustard, less calories!!

BUT here's how a Texas girl (even though I no longer live in texas.. lol) does it..

Place 2 pieces of toast in the toaster, and brown. Meanwhile take your thick sliced bolonga and fry it in a skillet, with no grease. Just get your pan really warm and toss a slice in, most of the time I use 2 slices. Just cause I love bolonga. When your toast pops up, grab the grape jelly and slather it on BOTH slices of toast, I do it lightly. Add your bolonga from the pan.. and ENJOY!!

I call this a fried bolonga sandwich!

Be careful with the knife; don't go back in to the mayo or mustard after it has touched the bologna, or the cheese.
Also, I use one more slice of bologna than cheese. My sandwich would be: two adjoining slices of bread as it comes out of the loaf, squirt mayo, and/or mustard on each bread slice, then bologna slice, cheese slice, bologna slice. add one or two more of each. Clean up as you go.
BEFORE starting, ask everyone if they would like a sandwich. If they say they don't care, no sandwich. They will learn soon enough, and you will be the hero.

Alan Jackson still likes bologna on white bread. If he only knew that the world loves it, too. Keep it simple and neat.

This may sound strange, but I have tried it and it's really good. Make a bologna sandwich with mayo, and chocolate chip cookies, I love'em!
