BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

My husband lives on bologna!! When I was a kid, the greatest snack was a piece of bologna and eat two holes for your eyes then a hole for your mouth and its tons of fun! I'll have to try frying my bologna - that sounds yummy!

I make something similar to this - I buy some bologna, and then what I do is I put a piece of bologna on the table, and put a piece of bologna on it. I spread some jelly from a can of SPAM on top, put another piece of bologna on that, then I mix up the rest of the bologna in the blender with an entire bottle of mustard and drink that. It's called, a bologna balogna balogna.

For me there are only two ways to eat bologna:

Frying the bologna, you have to use thick sliced bologna (preferably German from the deli), dijon mustard and white bread.

If not frying the bologna, thin sliced bologna, Duke's mayo, American cheese, and white bread.

For a twist add a single layer of plain ole potato chips (no ridges and no overlapping). Best stuff in the world and would have starved without it!

Hee hee - this made my day! Keep on with the light hearts one and all!! Always add "tato" chips to your baloney sammich - it's the best!!

Wow! Louisiana Saturday Night Supper! Love it! Dad always insisted we put Lay's plain potato chips on our 'samich', less mess.

This recipe is pretty pointless. My nephew is 3 and he knows how to make a sandwich without a recipe. I am assuming this recipe is a joke.

This is great!! Thanks for the laughs and great memories!! I ate bologna two ways when I was a child..add mustard on both slices of bread place bologna on one slice of bread then a handful of Lays potato chips and add the top slice of bread. The second version is warm up a flour tortilla and fry 2 slices of bologna then spread mustard on tortilla and place bologna on top and roll up!! Very delicious!!!

My favorite way to prepare. Fry one or two slices of bologna in butter in a cast iron skillet till browned on each side, add a slice of cheese (American) to melt. Toast your bread, add mustard to a bread slice, add sweet or hot banana peppers (you can also sautee these if you want but don't have to) to your bologna and top with the the other bread slice with a little mayo and as my wife would say "Enjoy."

I cannot believe the interest in bologna! Well, here is MY favorite..it is called a bologna burger and it is delicious! Open a can of chili and place in saucepan. Cook on medium heat. While cooking, place a slice of bologna in a skillet. Brown on one side and turn over to brown other side. While browning the second side, place a slice of cheese on top. Remove from skillet and place on a slice of sandwich bread. Smother the bologna with chili. Enjoy! Kids love it!

NEVER NEVER NEVER put condiments on the bologna. It just doesnt spread evenly. Thin layer of peanut butter (thin), stone ground mustard (with horseradish), M-Whip on the other slice. Sliced raw onions. Works great with Liverworst too.

Just had my "baloney" sandwich for lunch today, made one for my mama and had lunch with her. Thick slice bologna on fresh bread with Duke's mayonnaise and a bit of mustard spread on the bologna, for added nutrition, a fresh slice of home grown tomato was added with lots of salt & pepper.
