POTATOES O BRIEN SKILLET | |
1 bag frozen Ore-Ida Potatoes O’Brien 3-5 chicken breast tenders (or 2-3 breast halves) 1/2 of a bag of Lil Smokies 2 bell peppers (any kind) 2 yellow onions salt, pepper, garlic powder, to taste vegetable oil non-stick cooking spray Cut chicken tenders into small, bite-sized pieces. Coat a pan lightly with non-stick spray. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook on medium heat. Keep an eye on these, when they are done, turn them down to low. While the chicken is cooking, lightly coat a non-stick cooking skillet with vegetable oil, and add the Potatoes O’Brien. Then put it on a medium heat and cover, checking occasionally to stir. Dice the bell peppers and onions in small pieces. Add to the potatoes. Sprinkle with your salt, pepper, and garlic powder to your taste. Cut Lil Smokies into 3-4 small pieces per wiener. On medium heat, cook chicken and Lil Smokies. They won't take very long to cook. Once the Smokies are lightly browned add them, as well as the chicken, to the Potatoes O'Brien and stir. Serve, or continue to cook until browned if preferred. Enjoy. Submitted by: Jamie Turner |
