CADDO LAKE GREEN TOMATO RELISH | |
3 gallons green tomatoes, quartered 2 qt. chopped onions 1 qt. chopped bell pepper 1 c. chopped hot pepper 1/2 gallon vinegar 4 c. sugar 3/4 c. salt 1 tbsp. black pepper Mix tomatoes, onions, and peppers in a large pan. Then mix the vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper in a saucepan. Stir and pour over tomato mixture. Boil for 5 minutes (no more). Put in jars and seal. Hot peppers and black pepper may be decreased if desired. |
