HUNGARIAN BAKED CHICKEN 
1/2 stick butter
3 lbs. boneless chicken breasts
Paprika
1 sm. head cabbage, cut into 1/2 inch slices
Salt and pepper
2 red cooking apples
1 med. onion, sliced thin
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 tsp. caraway seeds
1 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese

Melt butter in large skillet with cover. Dust chicken lightly with paprika. Brown, cover, reduce heat and cook 30 minutes.

Preheat oven 375°F (350°F for Pyrex pan). Place cabbage slices on bottom of buttered 13x9 inch pan, salt and pepper. Cover; bake 20 minutes.

Remove cabbage from oven. Arrange apples and onions over cabbage. Sprinkle with lemon peel, sugar and caraway seed. Place chicken on top. Cover, bake 20 to 30 minutes longer.

Remove from oven. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven until cheese melts.
