APPLE RINGS 
2 c. self-rising flour
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. milk
4 apples
2 c. water
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar

Mix together the flour, 1 stick butter and milk. Next, roll out the mixture on a floured surface into a rectangular shape. Then, grate the four apples, sprinkle grated apples over the dough, roll up dough into a log and slice into 1/2" pieces and place pieces into baking dish. Then, mix sugar, brown sugar, water, cinnamon and 1 stick butter in a saucepan. Next, bring this mixture to a boil and pour over apple ring pieces. Lastly, bake rings at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
