FAVORITE PANCAKES WITH MAPLE
SYRUP
 
1 1/4 c. sifted self rising flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 beaten egg
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. salad oil

Sift flour and sugar. Combine egg, milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until flour is moistened (batter will be lumpy). Bake on hot griddle. Makes about 12 pancakes.

MAPLE SYRUP:

1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. water

Cook and stir until sugar dissolves. Add a few drops of maple flavoring.
