ORIENTAL PORK CHOPS
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
1 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 pork loin rib chops

For marinade, in a mixing bowl combine soy sauce, cooking oil, green pepper, orange peel, orange juice, brown sugar and the ground ginger.

Place the pork chops in a plastic bag set in a bowl. Pour the marinade over meat; close the bag. Marinate the meat in the refrigerator at least 3 hours or overnight, turning bag occasionally to distribute the marinade.

Before serving drain the pork chops, reserving marinade. Grill chops over medium slow coals for 25 minutes. Brush the chops with some of the reserved marinade. Turn chops and grill, covered, 25-30 minutes more. (Or, broil chops 3-4 inches from heat for 30 minutes, turning once during cooking.) Brush the chops with the reserved marinade occasionally. 2 servings. This is an excellent recipe!
