6 egg yolks 3 tbsp. grated orange rind 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 pt. sour cream 3 c. flour 1 c. powdered sugar, sift after measuring Deep fat Powdered sugar Beat egg yolks with fork, add grated orange rind, salt and sour cream. Put aside 1/2 cup flour. Add 2 1/2 cups flour and powdered sugar to egg mixture. Mix well, then add last 1/2 cup flour and work in by hand to form a soft dough. On a floured board, roll out dough a quarter at a time. Roll thin. Cut dough in small rectangles and twist in center to make bowls. Fry in fat. Drain and dust with powdered sugar. Makes 80. |
