HAM AND CHEESE (FOR SANDWICH
GRILL)

Make some tasty ham and cheese sandwiches using your leftover baked ham and watch that excess ham dwindle! I also like to use the slightly larger bread slices like Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse.

4 slices bread
2 slices cheese (I use Land 'o Lakes bulk sliced)
4 slices ham (I use leftover diced ham with fat chunks)
butter
taco hot sauce (optional but highly recommended)
non-stick cooking spray (Pam)

Spray grill plates with non-stick cooking spray (Pam). Butter two slices of bread and place on grill plates BUTTER SIDE UP. Start heating grill.

Add sliced cheese and sliced ham (or preferably diced leftover ham). When using diced ham, arrange chunks to fit in grill pockets. Add hot sauce on top of ham, if desired.

Butter remaining bread slices and place on top of ham BUTTER SIDE DOWN.

Once grill is heated, seal grill and grill for about 2 minutes. When sandwiches are nice and brown, remove with spatula and serve!

Makes 2 sandwiches.

I can live on these things! Tip: Financially challenged college students may like to know Taco Bell hot sauce packets work well with this >:)
