STRAWBERRY CREAM PIE 
CHOCOLATE COOKIE CRUST:

1 1/4 c. chocolate cookie crumbs, finely ground
1/4 c. butter, melted

FILLING:

1 pt. strawberries
6 tbsp. granulated sugar
2 egg whites
1 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract

PREPARE CRUST: Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into an 8-inch pie plate. Place in freezer. Set aside some strawberries for garnish. Wash, hull and puree remaining strawberries with 2 tablespoons sugar. Set aside. Beat egg whites until softness forms. Gradually beat in 4 tablespoons sugar. Beat until stiff. Set aside. Whip cream with vanilla. Set aside a half cup for garnish, if desired. Fold strawberries puree and egg whites into whipped cream. Spoon into prepared crust. Freeze until hard. Decorate top with whipped cream and strawberries, if desired just before serving.
