BUFFALO CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oats, uncooked
2 c. corn flakes
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. shredded coconut
1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips

Cream shortening and butter; gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking powder and soda. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Add oats and remaining ingredients one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Drop dough by tablespoonful 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Yields 9 1/2 dozen.
