MOSTACCIOLI MOSTA | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 c. onion, chopped 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 c. ripe olives, coarsely chopped 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1/2 tsp. Oregano leaves 1 lb. pkg. Mostacioli (pasta noodles) 2 tbsp. softened butter 1 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated In large skillet, cook ground beef and onion; drain excess fat. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, olives, Parmesan cheese, seasoned salt, and oregano. Simmer 15 minutes. Prepare mostacioli according to package directions. Drain. Toss with softened butter. Arrange in 3 quart shallow baking dish; pour on meat sauce. Top with Mozzarella. Place under broiler 2-3 minutes until cheese melts. 8-10 servings. |
