TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa

Put into 3 quart saucepan. Bring to boil. Cook about 1 minute, then remove from heat. Add: 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. sour cream

Beat all together in the saucepan until well blended. Pour into a greased and floured sheet cake pan, 11 x 17 inch. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool only 5 minutes, then frost.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk

Cook (in same pan as above). Bring to boil, then remove from heat. Add: 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. nuts (if desired)

Beat all together. Add more milk, if necessary, and pour on hot cake.
