This recipe is really good, however, I only used 1/4 cup salt, and half regular vinegar and half apple cider. Wonderful!!!

My mother used to make this in the summer and my brothers and I loved it. But she never used recipes, she just swung for the fences. So one summer when my brother Stewart was laid off, (Yes we were a union family) he spent an afternoon watching her make it and taking notes. This is the result. Stewart took it to the fair to enter it but they declined because it takes white sugar. We love it anyway, try it, you'll like it too it goes on burgers, pork chops, beef steak, you name it. There were no instructions on how or when so I had to go to Cooks.com. It's on the stove now and I'm exhausted.
