TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
3 sticks butter
1 c. water
8 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. milk
3/4 box (10 oz.) sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together in saucepan 2 sticks of butter, 1 cup water, 4 tablespoons cocoa. Add to bowl which contains 2 cups flour and 2 cups sugar. Beat well.

Stir in 1/2 cup sour milk or buttermilk. Add 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 2 eggs slightly beaten, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat well. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Ten minutes before cake is done, combine 1 stick of butter, 4 tablespoons cocoa, 6 tablespoons milk. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3/4 box (10 ounces) of sugar, 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Pour and spread over hot cake.
