NEVER FAIL ANGEL FOOD CAKE 
1 1/2 c. egg whites
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cake flour
1 c. powdered sugar

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and salt until stiff. Fold in sugar and vanilla. Sift flour and powdered sugar together 5 times. Fold into first mixture. Pour into hot tube pan. Bake 25-30 minutes in a 400 degree oven.
