NEVER-FAIL CRAZY CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
5 tbsp. cooking oil
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water

Put all dry ingredients in bowl and mix. Add cooking oil, vanilla, vinegar and mix. Add water and mix. Pour into 8-inch square pan and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.

HINTS: This may be mixed right in the pan. Make sure and scrape the corners if you mix in the pan. It is best to use white vinegar, however any kind will do. Make sure that the cocoa is the true cocoa variety (unsweetened). This recipe can be doubled or tripled. You may use this batter to produce 1 dozen cupcakes.

This cake is good with or without frosting. Sprinkling confectioners' sugar on top makes a nice finishing touch.
