BLACKBERRY COBBLER 
6 c. fresh berries, washed & drained
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
Dash of salt

Prepare blackberries: Bring first 4 ingredients to boil and simmer for 30 minutes. When fully cooked, berries and juice should equal about 32 ounces.

COBBLER:

4 oz. (1 stick) butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
Prepared blackberries

Melt butter in 9x13x2-inch baking dish.

Mix sugar, flour and milk; pour evenly over melted butter. Add prepared blackberries and bake at 350°F until crust rises to top and turns light brown. Sprinkle with teaspoon sugar and dash cinnamon mixed.
