KIM'S EASY BROCCOLI SALAD 
2 heads of broccoli, cut into small bite size pieces
1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp (pan fried bacon tastes the best)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 red onion, chopped
1 cup real mayonnaise (NOT Miracle Whip or Spin blend)
1 tbsp. white sugar
1 tbsp. cooking sherry (Holland House has a good one)

In a large bowl combine all ingredients together and mix well.

Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight for best results.
