SWISS AND BACON QUICHE | |
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese 12 slices crisp fried bacon, crumbled 1/3 c. minced onion 1 unbaked 9" pie shell 4 eggs, slightly beaten 2 c. whipping cream 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. pepper Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine cheese, bacon and onion in pie shell. Mix eggs and remaining ingredients in bowl. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 300 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Yield: 6 servings. |
