CHEWY OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES 
2 sticks butter, soft
1 c. light brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. raisins, rolled in flour
1 c. pecans, chopped
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Mix in dry ingredients. Stir in oats, raisins and pecans.

Bake in oven at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheets for 10-12 minutes.

Makes about 4 dozen.
