CRAB SOUP 
1 lb. beef cubes
1 ham bone or ham hocks
Sm. head cabbage, chopped
1 c. barley
Sm. bag dried lima beans
3-4 carrots, washed, peeled and sliced
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 lg. onion, chopped
3-4 stalks celery, washed and chopped
2 bay leaves
2 bags frozen mixed vegetables
1 can string beans
1 can corn
5-6 potatoes, peeled, diced and washed
1 can claw crab meat
Salt, pepper, Old Bay seasoning to taste
1/2 dozen steamed crabs, cleaned and broke in half

Take first 10 ingredients and put in large soup pot. Cover with water and cook for about 2 hours. Add vegetables and seasoning and cook slowly for another hour. Add crabs and crab meat and slow simmer until ready to eat.

May need to add more water. If so, also add a bouillon cube to give better flavor. Can substitute shrimp for crabs for shrimp soup.
