GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 pkgs. French-cut green beans, frozen
1 can bean sprouts
1 c. water chestnuts, sliced
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 c. sauce, tomato or cream
1 onion, chopped
Grated cheese (approximately 8 oz.)
1 pkg. frozen fried onion rings

In a 2-quart casserole layer one half the thawed beans, bean sprouts (drained), water chestnuts, mushrooms and chopped onion. Cover with half the sauce. Add some liquid from sprouts, if necessary. Sprinkle with half the cheese.

Repeat layering, topping with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, topping with onion rings the last 10 minutes. Serves 6-8.
