PIE CRUST FOR DOUBLE CRUST | |
2 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. shortening 4 tbsp. cold water Mix flour and salt together in a bowl. Add the shortening and mix it into the flour and salt with a fork or your fingertips until the mixture has the texture of coarse crumbs. Mix in the water, a little at a time. Refrigerate to chill before rolling out the dough. |
