BROCCOLI, CHEESE AND RICE
CASSEROLE
 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. melted butter
1 (10 oz.) box frozen broccoli
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz.) Kraft Cheez Whiz
2 c. cooked rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. shredded American cheese

Saute onions and celery with butter. Cook broccoli as directed on package. Drain.

Combine broccoli, onion, mixture, soup, Cheez Whiz and rice. Pour in casserole, season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

This receipe is very very good. I do use chicken soup instead of mushroom soup. And a whole onion. 12 oz of broccoli. I take this to every pot luck I go to. My container is always clean when I bring it home.
