1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
1 cup cold water
1 tsp. vanilla

Note: Do not use mayonnaise or fat-free dressing.

Sift together cocoa, flour, baking soda and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat together sugar, Miracle Whip, water and vanilla on high speed for 1 minute.

On low speed, gradually add 1/3 flour mixture; scrape bottom of bowl; stop mixer and stir in half of the liquid, another 1/3 of the flour mixture, the remaining liquid, and the remaining flour. Stir in vanilla.

Bake in greased round layer cake pans, a loaf cake pan or muffin cups in a preheated 350°F oven until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean (about 35 minutes).

Frost with Fudge Frosting or Coconut Frosting, or any favorite.
