SAUCE FOR STUFFED CABBAGE OR
GRAPE LEAVES
 
Greek- egg-lemon

Put cabbage rolls into a large pot. Pour over them the cabbage stock. Cook for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile beat 2 or 3 eggs. Beat in juice of 2 lemons. Add some of the hot stock from the pot while beating the egg-lemon mixture. Pour mixture back into the pot while stirring gently. Heat for just 2 seconds.
