EGG NOG CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 lb. butter
1 tsp. brandy
1 tsp. sherry
1/2 c. Crisco
5 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. rum extract

Cream Crisco, butter, and sugar. Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly. Add flavorings. Bake one hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees.
