“EBBIE'S GLAZED DOUGHNUTS (FROM CANNED BISCUITS)” IS IN:

EBBIE'S GLAZED DOUGHNUTS (FROM
CANNED BISCUITS)
 
1 can of Grand Biscuits
powered sugar
milk
oil

Doughnuts:

Heat oil. Lay out biscuits and take a small bottle cap and cut a hole in center of each biscuit. Set hole aside for doughnut holes. Fry in oil until golden brown, than drain on paper towel.

Glaze:

Mix powdered sugar and milk to a nice rich & thick consistency. Pour over doughnuts and let cool.

I used to make these with my neighbor in Arizona when I was like 10, except we would mix cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle them with that. Great Stuff! I'll have to try the glaze, it sounds yummy!

For the glaze, use 2 cups of confectioner's sugar to 1/2 cup of milk. This is the mix I used, and the doughnuts turned out great!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, just made these for Valentines Day breakfast for my boyfriend. He wasn't convinced they would taste like a doughnut, when they were done, I gave him a couple of the holes as a sample. He loved them! He went back to get more. Thanks for posting and Betty for adding the measurements, they did help. Will make again soon.
