1 c. sour cream
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. shortening
5 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
Pinch of salt

Cream sugar and shortening and sour cream. Add eggs (one at a time), beating well. Add milk and flour alternately. Add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until brown.
