DUTCH SWEETBREAD 
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cardamom
1 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs, beaten
6 c. bread flour (approximately)

Heat milk and butter until butter melts. Dissolve yeast in the warm water. Add water, sugar, cardamom, vanilla and eggs to the milk and butter. Mix in the flour and then knead. Let rise 1 hour. Divide dough into thirds and shape and put into 3 pie plates. Let rise again for 45 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
